VitaHealth’s origins date back to 1947 when it established a retail pharmacy. Subsequently, it launched its own brand of vitamins and health supplements called "VitaHealth". VitaHealth's "Over the Counter" (OTC) products are mainly sold at pharmacies and health food stores.

Herbs of Gold operates in the same sector as VitaHealth but its products are sold only in health food stores in Australia.

VitaHealth and Herbs of Gold have a team of qualified naturopaths, nutritionists, biotechnologists and pharmacists working under the philosophy of “thinking internationally but acting locally” to formulate product that is clean, effective and functional. As a consequence, the group constantly develops new products which are consistent with global trends while being adapted to suit the people’s, product and packaging needs of specific markets. All products comply with the respective countries rules and regulations such as the Drugs Control Authorities (DCA), FDA, TGA, with regards to product registration, formulations and labeling. Our supplements are manufactured according to strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards to ensure the highest quality and safety for all products.

Following market testing, orders are placed with contract manufacturers in Australia, the US and New Zealand to produce the various products in bulk form. The products are then shipped to VitaHealth’s packaging facilities in either Sydney, Singapore or Malaysia.
