| VitaHealth & Herbs of Gold |
VitaHealth’s origins date back to 1947 when it established a retail pharmacy. In 1973, it launched its own brand of vitamins and health supplements called "VitaHealth". VitaHealth's "Over the Counter" (OTC) products are mainly sold at pharmacies and health food stores.
Herbs of Gold operates in the same sector as VitaHealth but its products are sold only in health food stores in Australia, and in Singapore.
VitaHealth and Herbs of Gold have concentrated on building and managing brands under the philosophy of “thinking internationally but acting locally”. As a consequence, VitaHealth constantly develops products to ensure they are consistent with global trends while being adapted to suit the product and packaging needs of specific markets.
VitaHealth and Herbs of Gold develops and formulates vitamin, mineral, herbal and health food supplements from its Sydney laboratory. Following market testing, orders are placed with contract manufacturers in Australia and the US to produce the various products in bulk form. The products are then shipped to VitaHealth’s packaging facilities in either Sydney or Singapore.
Operations currently span, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China (Shanghai), Indochina and Thailand.
